The Foundation works with people from around the state who are called Site Coordinators. They include physical education teachers, golf professionals, golf enthusiasts, youth recreation professionals and other individuals within a community or organization. Site Coordinators are the key to the program locally. They organize and plan the entire program for the organization or community while maintaining contact with the Foundation.
The backgrounds of Kids Golf Foundation Site Coordinators vary, no formal golf training is needed. Site Coordinators demonstrate leadership ability, a love of children, a genuine interest in their community and understand the value junior golf programs can provide. If you are interested in becoming a Site Coordinator, your first step is to contact the Foundation for more information.
